Tamworth have signed forward Kieren Donnelly from Boston United for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old is the 11th signing made by the Lambs since the takeover of the club by US businessman Abdullah Ashraf.
What happened?
Donnelly was loaned to Kidderminster Harriers in March and contributed eight goals in 15 games, including one in their 2-0 win over South Shields in the National League North promotion final.
Why it matters for Tamworth
The signing is a significant coup for Tamworth, who are currently sitting 11th in the National League with 62 points, having scored 63 goals and conceded 71, and are on a 2-game winning run after their last result, a 5-1 win over Braintree on 2026-04-25.
What comes next?
Tamworth boss Andy Peaks said, 'He's quite rightly had lots of interest over the summer and the fact he's chosen Tamworth is a real coup for the club.' With the recent form of 2W-2D-1L, Tamworth will be looking to build on this momentum with the addition of Donnelly to their squad.
