Tamworth lost 1-0 to Woking in the National League after conceding a goal in the final minute of normal time. The defeat at The Lamb Ground on Saturday was Tamworth's second league loss in a row, leaving them 18th in the table with 17 points from 14 games, having recorded five wins, two draws, and seven losses this season. Their recent form shows two wins and three losses from their last five league games, a sequence that includes the 4-1 victory over Scunthorpe on Tuesday 27 October and the 2-1 loss at Carlisle on Saturday 17 October.

Sohna scored the only goal for Woking in the 90th minute, finishing from a pass by Kelly. The late strike decided a contest that had seen both sides collect multiple yellow cards. Tamworth's Kelly, Kurtaran, Roberts and substitute Bramble were all booked, while Woking's Ogie, Kelly and McArthur also received cautions.

Manager Andy Peaks made several changes during the match, introducing Bramble and Howley at half-time. Fairlamb, Creaney and Hutchinson followed in the second half as Tamworth searched for an equaliser, but they could not find a way past the Woking defence. Creaney was on the scoresheet in the midweek win over Scunthorpe, where Roberts, Kurtaran, and McGlinchey also found the net.

The result extends a patchy run of form for Tamworth, whose recent results show two wins and three losses from their last five league outings. They had beaten Scunthorpe United 4-1 just four days earlier, but have now slipped 24 points behind league leaders Boreham Wood. With 25 goals scored and 31 conceded, their goal difference stands at minus six.

Attention now turns to cup competition, with Tamworth hosting Everton Under-21s in the National League Cup on Tuesday night. Their next league fixture is a trip to face bottom side Gateshead on Saturday 7 November. Gateshead currently sit 24th in the table.
